The easiest way to find Dalesgate LodgeIf you are approaching Skipton on the A65 from Settle:
Take the second exit of the large roundabout where the Travel Lodge and Burger King are situated. You are now on Gargrave Road. At the Auction Mart roundabout go straight across, you will then pass Craven Swimming Pool and Aireville Park on your right. Carry on until you come to a mini roundabout, go straight across, passed the Girls' High School on the left-hand side and Dalesgate Lodge is situated on the right just a little way further on.
If you are approaching Skipton on the A65 from Otley/Ilkley:
As you approach Skipton ignore the first Skipton signs and stay on the by-pass, at the first roundabout take the left hand turn. Stay on the by-pass and again ignore the sign for Skipton Town Centre. You will then pass the Golf Club on your right. At the next roundabout take the third turning signed Kendal and Auction Mart. You will then come to the large roundabout where the Travel Lodge and Burger King are situated. Take the first exit and you are now on Gargrave Road. At the Auction Mart roundabout go straight across, you will then pass Craven Swimming Pool and Aireville Park on your right. Carry on until you come to a mini roundabout, go straight across, passed the Girls' High School on the left-hand side and Dalesgate Lodge is situated on the right just a little way further on.
If you are approaching Skipton on the A59 from Harrogate:
At the first roundabout go straight across, ignore the sign for Skipton Town Centre and stay on the by-pass. You will then pass the Golf Club on your right. As you approach Skipton stay on the A59 ignoring any signs for 'Skipton Local Traffic'. This brings you to the large roundabout where the Travel Lodge and Burger King are situated. Take the third exit and you are now on Gargrave Road. At the Auction Mart roundabout go straight across, you will then pass Craven Swimming Pool and Aireville Park on your right. Carry on until you come to a mini roundabout, go straight across, passed the Girls' High School on the left-hand side and Dalesgate Lodge is situated on the right just a little way further on.
If you are approaching Skipton on the A629 from Bradford/Keighley
As you approach Skipton at the first roundabout take the left hand exit towards Kendal. You will then come to the large roundabout where the Travel Lodge and Burger King are situated. Take the fourth exit and you are now on Gargrave Road. At the Auction Mart roundabout go straight across, you will then pass Craven Swimming Pool and Aireville Park on your right. Carry on until you come to a mini roundabout, go straight across, passed the Girls' High School on the left-hand side and Dalesgate Lodge is situated on the right just a little way further on.
